The Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair has long been a highlight of the Colonial House of Flowers year. 2012 is no exception. For years, Mr. Elmer and Mrs. Carolyn Phillips presented a Christmas house where passers-by could peep in a window to see a festively, perfectly decorated room. Do you remember it?
Mrs. Carolyn said they spent a lot of time arranging it “just so,” that there was a light inside to illuminate a scene with Santa, a tree and presents.
This year’s booth and parade entries are inspired by the Phillip’s emphasis on customer service and impeccable, timely delivery. These values have proven the cornerstone of the florist, and part of what make the Colonial House of Flowers so special and magical.
The doors to our little flower boutique opened in 1968… and, we’ve been making deliveries ever since!

Very grateful thank-you to the boys from redbpower for the help with the special lighting.
